We believe it is the duty and privilege of every believer and local church fellowship to glorify God by responding as active participants in the Great Commission, which is the call of Jesus Christ to go and make disciples of all nations.
The primary focus and priority of this call is centered on efforts that establish, strengthen, and reproduce biblically-based churches, which will then plant churches that plant churches for future generations and God’s glory. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Our biggest outreach events are primarily mission trips, our annual Spring Fling, Vacation Bible School, and Operation Christmas Child. However, we always have events going on, so visit our calendar of events to learn more!
Mission Trips
The mission team believes in making disciples both locally and internationally. Over the past few years, CBC of Pevely has sent multiple teams to the Dominican Republic, Harland, KY, and East St. Louis, IL.
If you are interested in getting involved with the mission team or would like information about the next trip, contact Nik Maxwell.

Annual Spring Fling
Every year, CBC of Pevely puts on a Spring Fling for the Pevely community. This event is our largest local outreach event, and we love having the opportunity to get to fellowship with members of the community. The main attractions of the Spring Fling include bounce houses, a petting zoo, affordable concessions, face painting, and a variety of booths and games. Everything besides the concessions are free!
If you are interested in volunteering for next year’s Spring Fling, contact Kim Beranek for more information.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a week-long event that CBC of Pevely puts on for the children in the community. This educational but fun experience allows children to travel back to Bible times to learn about Jesus. Activities include outdoor games, singing and dancing, Bible-story-themed snacks, science experiments and crafts, and interactive activities that exhibit the Biblical narrative.
If you are interested in volunteering for next year’s VBS, email Daina Rudanovich to learn more.

Operation Christmas Child
Every year around October, CBC of Pevely begins preparation for Operation Christmas Child, which is an outreach event that partners with Samaritan’s Purse. From the months of October to December, members of CBC of Pevely collect and assemble shoe boxes that are then shipped to children around the world. Along with Bibles and personal letters, these boxes contain toys, school supplies, clothing, and hygiene items.
If you are interested in getting involved with Operation Christmas Child this winter, contact Destiny Shocklee for additional details. For guidelines on what to pack in your shoe box, visit Operation Christmas Child.
